Better
I feel much better today, the staff was correct in assuring me I would. Guess I will be going home. I am slow moving and living for the next pain pill. Daughters visited and that always makes me feel better.

Fell worse
I feel like crap today. The staff assures me that the second day after surgery is the worst and it is. Don't think I will be able to go home tomorrow. Don starts checking out rehab facilities.

First day after
Today I felt fairly good after the surgery. Pain level low. Couldn't eat or do much but sleep. I got a back brace which despite how much it costs, makes my back feel better.

Surgery
Catching up on my posts!
This is the day I had spinal surgery to fuse four vertebrate and decompress the nerves going to my legs. It was a long, tough day. Don and daughters Sheila and Brenda stuck it out with me which did more for me than any medication.

Brenda entertained Lisa and Bill this morning and in the afternoon we had an indoor picnic (not so nice outside) at Sheila's house. Everyone was there and was a fun time!

Lisa's visit and Josh goes to the prom
Lisa and Bill came to our motorhome for part of the day for a nice long visit. We all went to the great lunch the campground provided as part of their Spring Opening. Later they went to visit Bill's niece.

Rebecca's speach
This late afternoon we went to Granddaughter Rebecca's Senior speech at the School of Environmental Studies. Her talk was on the American Indians and problems of the Reservations. She did a great job!
It has been raining all day but not cold.

Furniture
We finally made up our minds on furniture for our town-home, as least some of the furniture. We put a deposit on a sofa, love seat, TV stand, small kitchen table and chairs. We still have more shopping to do but at least we have a start.

Granddaughter's birthday
We celebrated granddaughters 18th birthday this evening at Pizza Luce. Hard to believe that little bundle of joy is now of legal age! It was good to get together with all the family as well!

On track!
The sellers are going to take care of the electrical problem in the townhouse. So that being done, assessment done, I am told "we are on track for closing:. Nothing to do but wait until June 15. EXCEPT find furniture, get back surgery, etc.
The trees and flowering bushes have really started to bloom and look beautiful. Allergies are in full force!

Too busy!
Our lives revolve around the Townhouse purchase. We have looked at furniture, mattress, microwave, vacuums. etc. Not purchased anything yet.
On Friday we had the inspection and there were more problems that we had anticipated. A couple problems, one in particular have to be solved before we buy. I hope the sellers will agree to this or we will be back looking at other homes.
Saturday we went to Sheila's Rosemount Community Band concert which we enjoyed.
