First the shower - the hose on our hand held shower head broke. We had planned to go to Panera for breakfast anyway, then HyVee so a stop at Menards was planned.
Second problem - we got in the car and it gave us all sorts of strange warnings and would not start. My first thoughts were it was from the electronics download we did two days ago. We had been having NO battery problems but Don decided to try a boost. That worked. He thinks it is not the battery but the connections.
We made it to Menards and then to HyVee to pick up a couple things we need. An impending snow storm of biblical proportions is forecast so we wanted to get the errands done ASAP. I went along and sat in the car so we could keep it running. When we came home Don cleaned the battery posts and it "seems" to work, we will travel with the booster for awhile.
Menards and HyVee were as busy as we'd seem them. Could hardly find a parking place at HyVee. No doubt everyone is getting their errands done early. We we probably get just a few flurries.
Later - 14 inches (some people say up to 18 inches) of snow. This should make the people wanting snow happy. For once the weather people were correct!
We had pot pies from the freezer for dinner. A good hot meal on a cold, snowy night.
