Don got the trailer all waxed. Good for the summer! I continue to clean out areas inside.
My back is hurting big time. I still think it is a bone out of place. When I stand up it feels better.
We went to Bushnell to pick up the rest of Don's prescriptions and also picked up dinner at Beef O'Brady's. We got their Friday special of steak and scrimp.
The heat has broken records today, our AC was on all day.
Don decided to check out his power washer again - it worked. We got the part later in the afternoon which we will return. So he got the remainder of the trailer power washed.
I cleaned the remaining shelves in the bathroom. I had saved the worst for last so that took some time and energy. I don't know it it was that event or something else but I seem to have a very painful back. Some bone might be in the wrong place.
We had leftover spaghetti for dinner. Still not much on TV so boring evenings.
We went to McDonald's for breakfast and then grocery shopping at Walmart. Again today there were few people around, guess they have headed north! Don stopped at CVS to pick up his prescriptions but they had only one ready as they said he hadn't ordered the other two, So we will go back later in the week.
For dinner I fixed the last of the boneless chicken wings. Freezer is looking empty.

Don started power washing the trailer. He went back later to finish and the power washer wouldn't work, he finally decided it was the special plug-in. We ordered one from Amazon so now he waits until at least Friday.
While he was power washing, I cleaned a couple cupboards in the bathroom. Still more to do, mostly I want to be sure I know what we have in them!
I made spaghetti for dinner, we have at least another meal leftover. Again nothing on TV so we watched some History Chanel stuff.
Yet another house cleaning day, they come around SO fast!
We went into Bushnell for a few things from Walmart. We are being careful to use up what we have and not buy any more than we need to buy. Then we picked up dinner from Beef O'Brady's. Monday is their good hamburger special.
Absolutely nothing to watch on TV so Don watched some things on Dish and ended up on MSNBC.
We went to San Antonio (Florida) for breakfast. It's 30 miles away but a good trip when we haven't been out much. Had a good breakfast - too much food.
When we got home Don took the sheets and mattress pad to the laundry and then we flipped the foam topper. It is stubborn and takes some convincing that it needs to be flipped but we finally got the job done.
We read the Sunday newspapers and watched the Sunday news shows.
We grilled pork chops. Talked to our daughters in the evening.
Another boring day. Worms are dropping from trees so I have no desire to be outside, anyway is is coldish out.
We went to Ridge Manor to Zaxby's for dinner. Desperate to find something on TV we watched "Green Mile" on Dish's HBO, a freebie movie. It was written by Stephan King so an interesting plot.
My geranium which we left last here last year. It was barely alive when we came in December but came back strong. We will leave it again this year.
Not much happening in the park, more people heading north every day.
We usually eat out on Friday evening but stayed home today. We had fish baked in our little oven.
Quiet day. We got up a little late so didn't accomplish much in the morning. In the afternoon it got stormy, had some lightening and thunder and a little rain. We could actually use a good rain.
We had boneless chicken wings for dinner along with a salad.
Watched some TV in the evening and called it a day!
We went to McDonald's for breakfast and then to Walmart for groceries. Walmart was very quiet, either the winter people have gone north or we just found a good time to shop. Don forgot to get his ice cream so we had to turn around and go back!
We had egg plant for dinner, very good. It had been a long time.
We went to Plant City, Florida today to visit Parksdale Farms. We had their wonderful fresh strawberry ice cream sundaes. They were great! Then we picked up some produce - egg plant, onion, tomatoes, strawberries and more. We got two big bags that came to less than $8.
The strawberry sundaes were our lunch. For dinner we had leftover pizza. It has been a hot day, had the car AC on all the time and used the cooling function on our car seats.
Cleaned the house again. Takes as long as our townhouse. I am still tired from the time change, not sleeping well.
We had left over Chinese food for dinner, how easy was that?
Another beautiful day, AC on in the afternoon. We were lazy today, read and did puzzles.

We went to McDonalds for breakfast of sausage English muffin and hash browns. Then to Walmart before they got too busy. They have a new security system, the alarm was sounding every few minutes. They have some adjusting to do! We are now on the grocery buying countdown. Need enough to get by but don't want to buy too much and have a lot left when time to head north.
We went to a favorite pizza place for dinner "Monticello's". We are inside for the first time this year.
It was yet another beautiful day. Had the AC on in the evening. The pollen is very high so that causes us some allergy problems.

For once we finally did something interesting. We went to the Gulf coast and drove around. Some parts are very commercial - touristy and other parts are very laid back. One county park we like to go to was closed due to road work. We continued north on the coast road. There is a seafood restaurant we found several years ago that we really like and go back every year. The problem being we don't know exactly where it is located. This year we found it with ease, it wasn't too busy when we went in but got busier as we ate. The place is called Cajon Jimmies Seafood Seller, just a small place in a strip mall in the town of Crystal River. After a great meal we headed home on a road we hadn't traveled before.
Started with fried green tomatoes. Don had shrimp tacos which looked fantastic. I had blackened Grouper (a Florida fish) and gumbo. Best meal for a long time!
Another day around the trailer. We went to coffee again and then did some things around the house. Otherwise a slow day.
A beautiful day. We went to coffee, nice to be outside. A good turnout, soon people will be leaving for their homes in the north.
Other than doing stuff around the house, reading and puzzles we didn't do much. We had boneless chicken wings for dinner.
Again today I am so tired. I did get the house cleaned and a couple loads washed and put away.
We stayed around home all day, sad to miss being outside in such nice weather. For dinner we had some packaged turkey breast and gravy on toast. It was better than I thought it would taste.
We got up early and put on yesterdays cloths to get to Waffle House before the crowds. Turns out there were just 2 tables left. There were a lot of bikers going the the motorcycles rally in Daytona Beach. All old guys and a few women.
I didn't want a full breakfast so just had their good pecan waffle. Don had the full deal. Then Don went to the grocery store, they had salmon on sale and that sounded good to me, first food that has sounded good since I got sick. He grilled it for dinner and it was good.
We read the Sunday paper in the morning . Talked to our daughters in the evening and watched a news show.
I feel somewhat better today but still am having chills now and again. And a headache once in a while. Someday I will be back to normal!
We were mostly around home all day. It started raining in the morning with a thunder storm. Our power was off for a bit. Then it rained on and off all day. They had hail east of us. We got sandwiches from Arby's for dinner.
Darn it. Still not feeling 100%. I have got to get over this soon. I did a lot of sleeping today, We got chicken fingers from Zaxby's for dinner.
Still feeling bad today, somewhat better. I nearly fainted in the shower. We had planned on going to the Escapees luncheon in Clermont but I knew I couldn't make it. I've been taking a lot of ibuprofen and that seems to help with the joint problem.
Don got sub sandwiches for dinner. I have had no appetite but he insists I eat so I eat for him.
We were very happy to get covid vaccine time slots for today at Walmart in Inverness (about 30 miles away). Don had no problems, hardly even a sore arm. I had an almost immediate reaction. I was shaking, more like quivering. Every joint hurt, dizzy and I got a bad headache. When I got back in the car I went to sleep and didn't wake up until we got home where I went to bed and slept most of the day (after taking a pain pill). I really felt super awful.
So the rest of the day is lost to me. Our second shot is April 4 and I am defiantly not looking forward to that.
We went to Brooksville to get hair cuts. The place we go now takes appointments so there is little or no waiting. We both got good, but short cuts. Next cuts will probably be in Minnesota.
Also stopped at Aldi's for a few groceries and got cheaper gas at Sam's Club. Then home.
We had a frozen chicken pasta thing that is microwaved for dinner.
Cleaned the house again otherwise it was a slow day.
We had left overs for dinner so that was easy!
