Lunch with friends

Today I went to lunch with 12 friends, some people are leaving soon so had to lunch together one last time until fall.  We did a lot of laughing at our table, I'm sure some thought we were making a spectacle of ourselves.  No use being so glum!

Spring ahead Sunday

Went to "church" at Cracker Barrow, came home and read the Sunday papers and did some work around the house.  I was SO tired from the time change I took a two hour nap.  I was still tired the rest of the day and probably will be for a few days - hate the time changes.  We went to the ice cream social and then grilled steak for dinner.  Also had sweet potatoes.  Last night we watched the movie "Flight", it was good but not a good show to watch if someone is flying anytime soon.  Hope I forget it by June! 

Escapees Lunceion

We went to the Golden Corral for lunch with the Escapees today.  As always it was fun and good food but really Sumter Oaks East as most of the people are from our park.  After lunch we went to Target and CVS, had a couple things to pick up and some walking helped after all we ate.

Gulf of Mexico

We took a little trip today to the Gulf, it was beautiful weather and perfect for a car trip.  We found several nice areas, we plan to go back with our chairs and a picnic lunch one day.

Sunday Ice Cream

After breakfast at Denny's we went to the park's ice cream social at the clubhouse in the afternoon. The choir that has been rehearsing for awhile sang a few songs and awards were given in the photo contest.  Everyone had the opportunity to vote on the many very good photos.

From there we went to some friends new trailer for a tour followed by dinner at home.

Out for Dinner

We went out for dinner at Outback Steak House, we had steak and lobster   All very good.  In the morning we went to the clubhouse for breakfast.
