It's a cold.

I finally decided that I have a cold, not allergies.  I took a couple Nitequal pills last night, should have taken only one as they really hit me.  When they wore off about 4 AM I was wide awake.  Didn't want to take any more that close to time to get up.  I took Dayquil in the morning, just one pill this time and it seemed to help, my supply expired March 2014 but still seem to work.  Hope this is a short cold.

We have a hot and humid day, AC turned on at noon.

Feeling even worse in the evening.  Didn't feel like fixing dinner so went to the new Taco Bells south of us.   Took more pills and zoned out.

Allergies

After mid 70's temperatures all weekend it has now turned hot and forecast to hit near 90 mid week.

I had a major allergy attach last night, many sneezes, runny nose and for some reason about 4AM my knees started hurting.  I took some ibuprofen but still I couldn't lay one place for more than 15 minutes.  They seem OK to day.

Cleaning day for the motorhome, I polished the chrome refrigerator and it sure looks nice without all the fingerprints.  We ate dinner at home.

San Antonio (Florida)

We went to San Antonio (Florida) for breakfast.  Today is the Daytona 500 races and many people go south on the Interstate Highway and cut across the state at the intersection we usually go for breakfast and stop for breakfast.  So we decided to go further south, we like to go there occasionally anyway.  Well, that place was busy, think we got the last table.  People waiting all over the place when we left and a parking lot full of motorhomes.

Came home to start reading the two Sunday newspapers we get, finished in the afternoon.  Later we grilled smoked pork chops for dinner and had some of the pie and wine we bought yesterday.  I talked to our daughters, their forecast big snowstorm never happened.

Pancakes and politics, don't mix

Again this Saturday Don helped with breakfast at the clubhouse.  I went over to eat, not many people there but good pancakes.  It was so humid it is misting outside.  We got into a political discussion at the table.  One husband was told to change the subject or his wife was leaving!

We went for dinner at Captain D's at Dade City.  Nice day for a drive.

Taco Salads, pie and wine

We had a nice day going but got to be hot and humid later.  We had the air conditioner on from noon on,  Don checked the motorhome batteries.  Says we might have a peskie battery.  He rinsed them off and got rust on your concrete patio, now he had a power wash job.

We did a scenic tour to Wildwood and ate at Steak and Shake, we both had Taco Salads and malts.  It was happy hour for malts, half price.  Came home via Winn Dixie and stopped for one of their great pies (got strawberry rhubarb this time) and a bottle of wine.

Walmart AGAIN

Back to sun, then clouds, etc.  We went to McDonald's for breakfast and then to Walmart for some groceries.  Came home and went to the clubhouse for 10:00 Coffee.  Unusual to day as the men and women sat together.  Don left early, think he had enough of our women's chit, chat.  Can't get into anything too heavy with the men around!

We went to the clubhouse for dinner which was very good.
