Cinco de Mayo

"The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle if Puebla, on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza." according to Google.

We went for breakfast at Denny's.  It was so hot in there that it was uncomfortable, turns out their thermostat was broken.  Came home and read the Sunday newspaper and did stuff around the house.

Grandson Josh got back from 3 months in Kenya today, anxious to see him!

We grilled steak and had corn-on-the-cob for dinner.
