We got up at 5:30, it took us three hours to get the remainder packed and do the big job of emptying the trailer tanks, unhooking the water, sewer and electricity and putting the hoses and cords in the shed. It was good to finally get on the road.
Lunch time we stopped at a McDonald's which was closed so went across to an Arby's. Don was sure we could go inside and eat but that was not the case, we ate in the car. Then on we went to Foley, Alabama, a place we often visited in when we had the motorhomes. We checked into our hotel and went to eat at a favorite place "Shrimp Basket" which surprised us by being open. It was off to bed early again.
